"While parents continue to insist on careers such as medicine or engineering, universities are preparing to pave the way to help content creators prepare," he insists. The market is getting bigger, aiming for $500 billion by 2027.
The faculties will focus on teaching the business side of their activity, as well as honing creativity and style. "It will help the industry overcome its reputation as a mere byproduct of the growth of social media and solidify it as a legitimate career with a variety of options," Foncillas notes.
