UEFA sanctions Barça for the behavior of its fans in Paris

The UEFA Appeal Committee has agreed to impose several fines on FC Barcelona for a total amount of 32,000 euros. In addition, he has been banned from selling tickets to visiting fans for his next match in European competition, although this sanction is suspended for a one-year trial period.

The European body charges three charges against the Barça club for the conduct of its fans during the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals, played at the Parc des Princes on April 10: acts of damage, lighting of fireworks and racist behavior.

Likewise, the committee of the continental body imposes on FC Barcelona a fine of 2,000 euros for lighting fireworks, and 5,000 for acts of damage, for which it orders it to contact PSG within a period of 30 days for the liquidation of damages caused by its fans.

In addition, he is fined 25,000 euros and prohibited from selling tickets to his fans as visitors for his next UEFA competition match, due to the racist behavior of his followers. Even so, said prohibition is suspended for a trial period of one year, counting from the date of the decision.
