The Mossos d'Esquadra have arrested two people for a shooting this past morning in Cornellà de Llobregat (Barcelona), in the context of a fight on public roads in which a woman was slightly injured.
According to El Caso and police sources have confirmed to EFE, the events occurred on public roads around two in the morning and resulted in the arrest of two men, one 31 years old and the other 39 years old.
After receiving notification of a dispute in which firearms have been used, the Mossos have gone to the scene and, together with the local police, have arrested one of the suspects.
Subsequently, the agents discovered that one of the men who had supposedly participated in the shooting was inside an apartment, so the Mossos have activated their Special Intervention Group (GEI) to access the home and arrest him.
The woman who was slightly injured in the dispute has been taken to a hospital but has already been discharged, according to sources.
The Mossos d'Esquadra maintain an open investigation to determine the causes of the fight and find out if more people are involved.
