Trias asks Collboni for a meeting with all parties to address the terrorist threat

Trias per Barcelona has asked the government of socialist Jaume Collboni for a new meeting with all political groups to “share information” about the risk of terrorist threat in Barcelona. In this sense, the spokesperson for Trias per Barcelona, Jordi Martí, has sent a letter to the deputy mayor for security, Albert Batlle, in which he asks him to repeat last October's meeting to address this issue.

“Without wanting in any case to contribute to unjustified alarmism,” Martí assures that he is making this request in light of the “increase in terrorist threats throughout Europe, the escalation of war in the Middle East and the episodes of alerts in the city that were finally discarded.”

The formation led by Xavier Trias in the City Council comments that in October the municipal government convened all the political parties after their group defended a proposal in the municipal council that month, approved unanimously.
