With the arrival of spring it is time to enjoy wildflowers. The most common in the fields are lilies, hollyhocks, anemones, daisies, virginias or Santa Lucia flowers, wild poppies, hyacinths, hydrangeas, dandelions and lavenders.
Today, in Las Fotos de los Lectores de La Vanguardia, I would like to show some images taken in the rural landscape of Lliçà d'Amunt, in Vallès Oriental.
In these photographs we can see how, during this day, the sky was covered by thin, but extensive clouds. In addition to having a whitish sky, I could also see how around the roads, green fields surrounded me with abundant wild flowers, among which the color white dominated.
While I was enjoying this environment, I had the feeling that I was in spring, due to the heat it was and those brilliant wildflowers.
However, this rural landscape with farmhouses, farms and fields contrasts the proximity of some large industrial warehouses, offices and an important highway in this area of Vallès.
Although yes, if we ignore these more details of industrial modernity, we can enjoy a beautiful day in the countryside with the first wildflowers of spring.
