The National Police have arrested four young people, three of them minors, accused of murdering a 55-year-old man last January from whom they had bought hashish and from whom they intended to carry out a "vuelco" (drug theft) at his home from the Madrid district of Villa de Vallecas. The victim received a stab wound to the left side and managed to get out of his doorway, on Enrique García Álvarez street, where he ended up dying, the Madrid Police Headquarters reported this Friday.

The events occurred in broad daylight, around 6:30 p.m., on January 22, shortly after one of those allegedly involved in the crime, a minor, showed up at the house with the intention of acquiring hashish. . Due to the young age of the buyer, the alleged person in charge of the point of sale of drugs denied him the transaction.

Then his companion, the only adult accused and born in 2002, went to the home again to buy hashish and take the opportunity to search the room, where there were both narcotic substances and money.

The two young people, along with two other minors, all Spanish, then planned to commit a "rollover" against the seller at his home, the Police reported. To do this they went to a nearby store, where they bought a large kitchen knife.

The first minor appeared for the second time at the property, where he ended up stabbing the victim, who resisted the robbery, according to the investigators. The material author of the crime failed to steal anything and escaped on the run along with the others involved. In his escape he threw the murder weapon, which was found by the agents in some bushes near the scene.

The bloodied man managed to get out of the building's portal, where Samur-Civil Protection personnel confirmed his death minutes later.

The investigation of the Homicide Group V of the National Police of Madrid, within the framework of the Ketama operation, managed to identify the four allegedly involved in the crime. Among them was the only young man of legal age, who was arrested last May in the Barcelona town of Balenyà and entered provisional prison as being investigated for a crime of homicide.

At the same time, the agents established another device in Madrid that resulted in the arrest of the other three alleged participants in the crime, all minors. The alleged perpetrator entered a closed regime in a juvenile detention center, while the other two detainees were provisionally released.
