In the caravanning sector, while some manufacturers prefer to design increasingly larger and more spacious models to travel in complete comfort, there are others who want to satisfy the demand of a public, generally young, looking for a compact but sophisticated caravan for their holiday getaways. weekend.

One of these last manufacturers is the small company Living Vehicle that, since 2017, has been producing premium caravans in which minimalism and quality are prioritized over pure ostentation, and in which there is also no shortage of technology and sustainable resources to achieve the maximum autonomy.

The new HD24 caravan is, like the brand's previous models, a limited edition vehicle that improves on its predecessors. Based on the firm's flagship HD series, it is a more compact alternative, with a shorter wheelbase and, therefore, more agile for transport on easy dirt roads. And all this without giving up comfort or elegance.

This is a 7.3 meter long double axle caravan, ideal for adventurous couples or solo travelers. It can also be used for more family purposes, as it has capacity for up to four adults thanks to a double bunk bed that folds out into the living room at the touch of a button.

It has a fully equipped kitchen, a full bathroom, a generous dressing room located in the master bedroom, a washer dryer, solar panels, an awning on each side of the vehicle and an extendable terrace to enjoy the outdoors while camping. It also includes sound and audiovisual equipment with a 4K television.

The appliances in the kitchen, which is located in the center of the caravan, run exclusively on solar energy captured by panels mounted on the roof and stored in its battery pack. The HD24 features a domestic size refrigerator with freezer compartment, a 3-burner electric cooker, an electric oven, an extractor hood and a water purifier.

As standard, the caravan incorporates a fresh water tank of almost 380 liters, to which an additional 20 liters are added per day thanks to Water-From-Air technology. In addition, the vehicle boasts of offering plenty of storage space, not only for the food pantry, but also multiple cabinets and drawers to store personal items.

The bathroom is not very big, but thanks to the skylight over the shower and a large window, it feels more spacious. It includes a small sink, a toilet and a shower with a bamboo floor, as well as a heater and an anti-fog mirror with integrated LED lighting.

The HD24 is available in four versions, each with different solar pack capacities, depending on needs. The ECO version, for example, has 600 W of solar energy with a 2,000 W inverter and a 4,800 Wh lithium battery, which provides between 3 and 7 days of camping autonomy. For its part, the PRO version offers unlimited off-grid stays through 3,800 W of solar energy, an 18,000 W inverter and a 72,000 Wh battery bank.

The new Living Vehicle model will go into production at the beginning of 2024 with a base price of 220,000 euros. You can learn more about all its details and technical specifications in the video that accompanies this news.
