This is how David Bisbal talks about the breakup with Chenoa in his documentary on Movistar Plus: "It could have happened to anyone"

This Tuesday, Movistar Plus premiered the documentary Bisbal, in which the singer David Bisbal reviews his personal and professional career with a very intimate approach. Producer Alexis Morante has been in charge of directing this new audiovisual, in which he recounts some of the most relevant moments in his life.

After rising to fame after passing through the first edition of Operación Triunfo, in 2001, Bisbal also became the focus of attention of the tabloid press, interested in his alleged relationship with his academy classmate Chenoa. The matter has also had her place in the documentary, ensuring that finding love in the program is something that she "could have happened to anyone" as she revealed.

As was the case in those early years, Bisbal confesses that he is still not "aware" of current affairs of the heart and adds that he does not usually "talk about those things either." "The moment I started the race I knew right away that I couldn't get off the moving train," he said before the cameras.

The artist from Almería has not mentioned Chenoa at any time, although he has referred to his breakup with her indirectly. "I realized the rawness, the hardness and the reality of fame when I found myself immersed in those types of situations that I had not chosen, simply the only thing I had chosen was a personal change of mine," he confessed.

After showing a headline from that time (2005), which claimed that "Bisbal and Chenoa's love broke up" and avoiding showing the image of the singer, David has made a new confession. "I had practically no life, I was persecuted to the point of satiety; because I didn't answer the questions they wanted to ask me, they got a little more cruel," he said.

In addition to the performer, some of the people in the music industry who have remained closest to the artist during these years have contributed their testimony to the documentary. One of them is the president of Universal Music, Narcís Rebollo. "For David it was hard because you can love someone in a way, but you don't necessarily want them by your side," he said, later talking about the famous image of Chenoa in a tracksuit reporting the breakup: "He stayed, but now "There was no more," he said.
