Authorities in California (USA) offered a reward of about 125,000 dollars for information that helps to clarify the murder of five men, three of them Latinos, for no apparent reason, and that makes them think that it may be a murderer serially. The initial reward was $100,000, but after a donation this morning from the ATF, it has increased.

The murders occurred between July 8 and September 27 of this year, during the night or in the early hours of the morning.

Stockton Police told ABC that all of the victims were ambushed, none were robbed, and none of the incidents were drug or gang related.

The police chief said it was not clear what the victims, who included both men and women and ranged in age from 21 to 54, had in common. All but one were attacked in the Stockton area, except for a 46-year-old woman shot in Oakland, who was the only survivor.

According to Stockton police, the crimes would be related to another murder that took place last year when a woman died.

The victims were identified as Paul Yaw, 35, Salvador Debudey Jr., 43, Jonathan Hernández Rodríguez, 21, Juan Cruz, 52, and Lorenzo López, 54.
