The Civil Guard and the Local Police of Constantí have located 12 mutilated roosters and 70 fringing birds in three agricultural warehouses located in this municipality of Tarragonès (Tarragona).
During the inspections, the agents verified that in two of the warehouses there were cages for breeding birds without any type of documentation.
They also located vitamin and invigorating supplements without prescriptions or veterinary records, as well as syringes, scissors to carry out mutilations and other elements designed so that birds can illegally participate in cockfights.
The agents have filed up to 17 complaint reports for administrative violations of an environmental nature, waste and industrial safety.
