The Mossos d'Esquadra have opened an investigation into a new case of group sexual assault on a minor that would have occurred in the Màgic center in Badalona last August. On the other hand, a group of mothers from the city who have organized to demand more security, claim to have knowledge of up to three sexual assaults.
A young woman, who was 16 years old in August, was assaulted and sexually assaulted in the toilets of the shopping center by a group of young people who threatened her into giving them fellatio, according to RTVE, filed a complaint with the Catalan police. Initially, the case bears many similarities with the one that broke out two weeks ago in the same place when a group of minors sexually assaulted an eleven-year-old Ghanaian girl.
On the other hand, a group of mothers from Badalona who have organized to protest the attacks on girls by groups of young people in the shopping center area, have assured that there are at least three coincident cases of group rape.
The Badalona City Council, given the new information about group sexual assaults, has organized an emergency meeting with all the agents involved, such as the Mossos d'ESquadra, the Màgic shopping center, the Germans Trias and Pujol Hospital, from which they will issue a statement official.
