The Traffic Group of the Civil Guard is investigating the driver of a truck that had six times the blood alcohol level on the AP-7, near the Alicante town of Orihuela, as reported by the Armed Institute in a statement.
The events occurred on the morning of November 28, on the AP-7 highway, at kilometer 764, in Orihuela, when agents belonging to the Traffic Subsector of the Alicante Civil Guard were carrying out their inspection work on the occasion of the execution of weighing controls coordinated jointly with the Department of Transport.
During the inspection of one of the heavy vehicles, its driver was subjected to the legally established alcohol detection tests and the result was a rate that was six times that allowed, so the vehicle was immobilized and an investigation was opened into its driver. for an alleged crime against road safety by driving under the influence of alcoholic beverages.
The proceedings carried out have been delivered to the Investigative Court number 1 of Orihuela.
