The offer includes ten positions for electric vehicles and seven for cars for people with reduced mobility.
The mayor of the city, Rubén Viñuales, has stated that the expansion will improve mobility in the Part Alta and reduce the number of cars entering the old town.
In turn, it will ensure parking in the area when the Low Emissions Zone comes into operation in 2025.
Viñuales has pointed out that the final objective is "sustainable mobility" and that this expansion will help.
