The Sant Jordi wind shapes fantasy clouds

Today, Sant Jordi Day, we have lenticular clouds and morning temperatures around 0 degrees in Olot, in the Garrotxa region.

It looks like it's not going to rain. A curious sky with oval shapes that signal wind, as seen in this series of photographs in La Vanguardia's Readers' Photos.

As if it were a story, on the day of the book (and the rose), the wind seems to have allied itself with literature and has decided to model fantasy clouds in the sky.

Lenticular clouds are called that because they are shaped like a lentil, as their name indicates, or there are also those who see them as a saucer or converging lens.

They are stationary and form mainly at high altitudes in mountainous areas and isolated from other clouds. Among mountaineers these clouds are considered a harbinger of a storm.
