The autumn days in Alta Garrotxa are a spectacle and, in Salarsa, near Beget, we can enjoy this Romanesque jewel, the church of Sant Valentí.

The church of Sant Valentí de Salarsa, fortunately, underwent reconstruction in 2018, which made it possible to stop the degradation process generated by the seismic movements in the area.

It was then that it could be restored to preserve one of the most outstanding Romanesque buildings of Catalan cultural heritage.

Salarsa has a neighborhood of farmhouses scattered around the plain of the stream. It is open to rural tourism, with various services, such as a riding center.

For hiker lovers, this enclave of Alta Garrotxa offers an attractive series of routes to enjoy hiking.

The church of Sant Valentí de Salarça (or Salarsa) is administratively within the municipal term of Camprodon, in the region of Ripollès, although geographically it belongs to the natural subregion of Alta Garrotxa. It is protected as a cultural asset of local interest.
