The old monastery, currently in ruins, of Santa Eulàlia de Tapioles is located in Vallgorguina, in Vallès Oriental, in a wooded and uninhabited area that is part of the Natural Park of Montnegre and the Corredor.

This ancient church, documented since 878, is accessed by a dirt road that starts from the road from Sant Celoni to Arenys.

The complex is made up of the church, a cemetery and a house, with architectural elements from very different periods. Despite its historical importance, the complex is very deteriorated, with parts clearly demolished. Despite this, the bell tower, of a more recent construction, is in good condition, as seen in this photographic report in La Vanguardia's Readers' Photos.

Its origins date back to the Visigothic era, but the oldest part preserved is the Romanesque apse, from the 12th century. This church attracts a very diverse audience, from lovers of medieval art to followers of esotericism.

And this church is frequently used for acts related to witchcraft and ritual magic, they say because it has a special magnetism. On the same path, about 500 meters away, you can find the Pedra Gentil dolmen, also a common object of pagan rituals.
