The PSOE-M appears in the case opened against Ayuso's boyfriend for the "general interest"

The PSOE-M has decided to appear as a popular accusation in the judicial procedure of the case that affects the boyfriend of Isabel Díaz Ayuso because it considers that knowing what happens to the "350,000 euros of all Madrid residents" is a matter of "general interest."

This has been requested from the Court of Instruction number 19 of Madrid, which has summoned Alberto González Amador, partner of the president of the Community of Madrid, and four people to testify on May 20 and 21 as being investigated for two alleged crimes of fraud. to the Treasury and one of forgery in a commercial document.

In its writing, released to the media, the PSOE-M justifies its appearance in the case, without the need for a complaint or bond, because it indicates that "the facts that originate, in principle, in contracts related to the supply of sanitary materials acquired during the management of the Covid-19 crisis, and which, in any case, would affect the general interests such as an attempt to defraud the public treasury, we would find ourselves facing a cause of general interest of the citizens.

"This is why the PSOE-M requests your personación in this cause in representation of its affiliates and the general interest of the citizenry who presides over the actions of this organization", añade.

The leader of the Madrid socialists, Juan Lobato, has insisted in statements to the media on the reason of defending "the general interest" of Madrid and Spaniards in knowing what happens to the "350,000 euros of all Madrid residents" that he has supposedly defrauded. to Hacienda González Amador and "to supervise every euro that families and companies in the Community of Madrid have paid with their taxes."

Lobato has thus referred to the fact that the president's partner's company, as he has said, went from billing "27,000 euros to 1.7 million, mainly because it has received money from the Quirón Group", a company that - he has pointed out - is the "largest recipient of public funds in the Community of Madrid."

In this sense, Lobato, as announced last week by the deputy spokesperson for her group in the Assembly, Marta Bernardo, requests to appear in person to have "access to the procedure and all the information to supervise" where all the money has gone.

At the national level, the PSOE has insisted on its request for the resignation of the Madrid president, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, among other reasons for having "hijacked" public funds to private healthcare, in reference to payments made to Quirón Salud, a client of her boyfriend, thus causing an "economic benefit in her environment."

The socialist spokesperson in the Senate, Juan Espadas, has redoubled the PSOE's pressure on Ayuso this weekend by asking her to "assume in the first person" her political responsibilities and resign as president of the Community of Madrid, since he assures that "there are plenty of the motives".

Among them, he mentioned the management of nursing homes during the pandemic but also the "diversion of public funds to private healthcare, done by hand and clearly with an economic benefit in its most immediate environment."

In this way, she referred to the payments that the Community of Madrid authorized in 2022 to the Quirón Salud hospital group, the main client of her boyfriend, Alberto González Amador, who is currently being investigated for alleged fraud against the Treasury.
