Surely, as a child, Alberto Núñez Feijóo wrote letters to the Three Wise Men asking for gifts that they did not bring him. Perhaps from there, his lack of confidence in the Post Office. Or already as a teenager, letters to girlfriends that got no response. Or letters that he did not have the courage to write or answer. When they reproached him, he claimed that it was the postman who lost them. And in the case of Their Majesties the Magi, it was the postman who did not deliver it and that is why instead of a scalextrix they brought him a drug dealer with a yacht. Always the fault, the postman. When he loses the election on Sunday, the postman will also be to blame.
There is always a letter that does not arrive, an explanation, a reason that stays at the bottom of a mailbox or a post office. They are the letters that are written and not sent. Those that are said to have not been received. The ones that perhaps carry within them that they still love you or that they regret having whitewashed the extreme right. Those letters, those kinds of letters. Letters that Núñez Feijóo would deny having written, having received, I don't know what they are talking about or review his notes, journalist.
Remember the other day on television. There, too, the fault lay with a postman.
