The police are looking for the ultras who attacked a center in Castelló with an injured person in the ICU

The Government delegate in the Valencian Community, Pilar Bernabé, assured this Tuesday, in relation to the group attack by "ultras" that occurred last Saturday in an anti-fascist center in Castelló where one person was seriously injured, that this event "does not will go unpunished" and that the National Police is already working on the investigation to arrest the alleged perpetrators.

This is what was indicated in statements to the media in Valencia when asked about this event. The victim of the attack, a 32-year-old man, remains admitted to the Intensive Care Unit, ICU, of the General Hospital of Castelló with a reserved prognosis, as confirmed this Tuesday by the hospital.

"The National Police, after the action of the Local Police at the time of the event, has taken over the investigation and what I do want to say is that the perpetrators of this attack will not go unpunished," he indicated, and promised that "the arrests that are necessary" will be carried out because this fact "will not go unpunished."

Bernabé has not commented on whether any of those involved in the attack would be related to far-right altercations from previous years because "the investigation is ongoing and, for the benefit of the investigation, we are going to let the investigators work in peace."

The National Police is investigating an alleged group attack, in which about 20 people participated, at an anti-fascist center in Castelló during the night of last Saturday, in which a man was injured. According to published information, it appears that the objective of the alleged attackers was to reach the headquarters of La Cosa Nostra Castelló Antifa Social Club, on San Miguel Street, where a party was being held.

This group published several images of this celebration on Monday, accompanied by a text that reads: "They will not be able to handle a united, happy and combative people. We are very clear that resistance is victory."

In this message they thank and convey their "love" to those who "risk their freedom, and even their bodies not to give in and confront the reaction that tried with all its repressive forces and its thugs to stop a critical, supportive and anti-fascist Castelló, something they will never achieve."
