The order of performance of the 'Eurovision 2024' semi-finals revealed

There is just over a month left until millions of people can once again enjoy one of the most important musical events of the year: Eurovision. The next edition of the Song Festival will take place on May 11 in the city of Malmö, Sweden. A global event in which we can enjoy 37 musical proposals that will fight to obtain the popular crystal microphone.

This past Thursday, March 26, the European Broadcasting Union together with the Swedish public television, SVT, revealed new details of the festival's celebration, such as the order of performance of its two semifinals and the Big Five countries that will perform in each one of them. And as a novelty, this year the five Big Five countries and the host country will perform in the semifinals but as an exhibition.

The first semi-final of the contest will take place on Tuesday, May 7. The second will be held on Thursday of that same week, May 9, and the grand final will take place on Saturday, May 11. The order of the grand final will be decided through a draw when all qualified countries are known.

However, what the festival organization has already wanted to reveal is the complete list of countries that will perform in each semifinal and their order. The first semi-final will be made up of the following participants: Cyprus, Serbia, Lithuania, Ireland, United Kingdom, Ukraine, Poland, Croatia, Iceland, Germany, Slovenia, Finland, Moldova, Sweden, Azerbaijan, Australia, Portugal and Luxembourg.

On the other hand, in the second semi-final the following countries will compete: Malta, Albania, Greece, Switzerland, Czechia, France, Austria, Denmark, Armenia, Latvia, Spain, San Marino, Georgia, Belgium, Estonia, Italy, Israel, Norway and Netherlands. Thus, Nebulossa will take the stage in Malmö for the first time on Thursday, May 9, and will perform between Latvia and San Marino.
