On the 17th in Esplugues de Llobregat (Barcelona) the Mossos d'Esquadra arrested four people who were carrying 15 mobile phones stolen during the Valencia Fallas celebrations.

As reported this Wednesday by the Generalitat Police, traffic officers stopped a vehicle on the C-245, within the municipality of Esplugues, within the framework of a breathalyzer test, and located the electronic devices wrapped in aluminum foil under the A seat.

The detainees, alleged perpetrators of fifteen crimes of theft, are two men and two women, between 27 and 41 years old. Two of those arrested have accumulated a dozen arrests each related to property crimes, in some cases in festive environments that bring together large events of people.

When carrying out the first checks with the owners of the phones, some of them indicated that they had previously reported the theft of their terminals.

From the information extracted by the Mossos, the theft of the mobile phones can be located during the celebration of the Fallas that take place in Valencia during these days.

The Esplugues de Llobregat Citizen Service Office is contacting the owners of mobile phones to return their devices.

So far, 10 victims of these thefts have already been successfully contacted. The four detainees were brought to justice this Tuesday.
