Mossos d'Esquadra from the Pineda de Mar (Maresme) police station arrested, on February 24, three men, two 27 years old and one 26 years old, as alleged perpetrators of a crime against public health for drug trafficking.
A citizen called the emergency number 112 because he had problems with three clients of a rented vacation apartment, who did not want to leave. When the police arrived at the scene and asked for their documentation, they smelled a strong smell of marijuana from inside the clients' vehicle, parked at the door of the property. When searching both the three men and the tourist, they found more than 200 grams of hashish, about 100 grams of marijuana and more than 18,000 euros in cash.
Hence, the three men were detained as alleged perpetrators of a crime against public health and drug trafficking, for which they were brought to justice.
