The Flandes dels Casots, in Subirats (Alt Penedès), are, from a geological point of view, a marvel. Technically, they are a rather peculiar example of external geodynamics.

According to the ecological and naturalist association ADENC, "the Flandes dels Casots constitute a unique area formed by a formidable amphitheater of vineyards, elevated on a large vertical wall of limestone rock, more than 12 meters high."
