The Government continues to be renewed with the appointment of another 17 senior positions

After leaving Junts del Govern, Esquerra's work accumulated. Not in vain, the postconvergents were at the head of seven ministries, some of weight, such as Economy and Hisenda or Acció Exterior. Pere Aragnès replaced the ministers in just 48 hours and shortly after the general secretaries of each department were appointed. Today, in the Consell Executiu, the designation of 17 more positions has been approved, of which eight are general directors, third swords in the conselleries.

Thus, the Government's appointments include Eva Pomares as the new director general of Diffusion of the Generalitat and Carles Armengol as the new director general of Religious Affairs, both dependent on the Department of the Presidency.

The Ministry of Economy, now led by Natàlia Mas, also completes its new organization chart with Josep Maria Aguirre as the new Director General of Heritage.

In the ministry of Foreign Action, Miquel Royo will be the new secretary of Foreign Action, Rafel Caballeira the new director general of Catalonia External, while Yoya Alcoceba will be the new director general of Development Cooperation and Ana Dotor the director general of Action Outside the Government.

The new Minister of Territory, Juli Fernàndez, has appointed Marc Sanglas as Secretary of Mobility and Joan Masferrer as Director General of Territorial Strategy.

They also enter as new senior positions in the Government, in this case in the Ministry of Health, Carme Bertral as secretary of Health Care and Ramon Canal as director general of the Catalan Health Service (CatSalut).

Amand Calderó -secretary of Penal Measures- and Iolanda Aguilar, as secretary for the Administration of Justice, are new positions in the Department of Justice.

The Government has also appointed high-ranking Executive officers in ministries that have not changed their political color: Blanca de Gispert is the new director of Services at the Department of Education, and Joan Torrent is the new director of the National Council for Culture and the Arts ( CoNCA).

In the Ministry of the Interior there have also been changes in two senior positions: Marta Roca has been named director of the Public Security Institute of Catalonia and Marta Cassany as general director of Civil Protection.
