The Esquerra militancy has endorsed the agreement reached yesterday between the Republican president, Oriol Junqueras, and the Minister of the Presidency and member of the federal executive of the PSOE, Félix Bolaños, to unblock the eventual investiture of Pedro Sánchez in a consultation held this Friday in which 89% of those who participated have given their approval.
The militants have responded to the following question: "Do you agree that Esquerra Republicana votes in favor of the investiture of Pedro Sánchez in exchange for the amnesty law, the second phase of the resolution of the political conflict to address the referendum, the transfer comprehensive Cercanías program, economic commitments and proposals to reduce the fiscal deficit?"
Specifically, 89 percent voted in favor, 9 percent against, and 2 percent blank.
In total, 43.61% of the members with the right to vote participated in the internal consultation.
The agreement reached yesterday includes, among other issues, the amnesty for people affected by causes derived from the process that the socialists are still negotiating with Junts, the forgiveness of 15,000 million of the debt of the Generalitat with the Autonomous Liquidity Fund and the transfer of the R1, R3 and part of Rodalies' R2.
