The Enlightened Nature of insects moves to Tierno Galván Park: schedules and prices

The Naturaleza Encendida show, which can be seen for the fifth consecutive year in Madrid, changes location. Until last year, it was installed in the Botanical Garden, but this Christmas it has been placed in the Enrique Tierno Galván park.

The objective of this change is "to allow an improved, broader, more comfortable and accessible experience for visitors," they point out from the production company Lestgo. The visit lasts about 45 minutes.

This year the light exhibition is about insects and you can see spectacular butterflies, tunnels represented by panels of bees, giant dragonflies, beetles of a thousand colors, armies of illuminated ants or dazzling flowers, which recreate the natural habitat of these animals.

The exhibition, a fascinating journey into the world of insects, can be visited from November 21 to January 21. The schedule starts at 6 p.m., when the sun goes down, until the last pass which is at 10:15 p.m. There are passes every 15 minutes and prices start at 13 euros depending on the day and time. Children under 3 years old do not pay, but the date of birth will be verified with an ID or family book. There is also a fast pass ticket for preferential access without queues whose price is higher.

Lestgo in this lighting initiative highlights the existing vegetation, as in previous editions. In addition, it calculates the carbon dioxide footprint it generates and offsets the impact. This year, it has the sponsorship of Repsol to use low-consumption LED technology and minimize the energy impact as much as possible thanks to the energy company's renewable fuels.
