The drought of the Sau reservoir from above

This Sunday I captured these panoramic overhead views of the Sau reservoir from the top of the Tavertet cliffs for La Vanguardia's Readers' Photos.

They are images that convey a lot of sadness, since, if it does not rain and much more, soon this reservoir will be completely empty. In fact, its reserves are now only at 1.64%, when the average for the last 5 years was 105%.

Tavertet is located in the Collsacabra area and, from the chasms that surround the town, there are excellent views of the Sau and Susqueda valleys.

Tavertet is located within the Guilleries area. Morro de l'Abella, for example, is a viewpoint with fantastic panoramic views of the Sau reservoir, which is located a few kilometers before reaching the town of Tavertet.

Below, from this privileged view from the viewpoint, we will see the reservoir and, in front, we will have the Puig de la Força and, to our right, the Salt de Tirabous.
