The details of Britney Spears' prenuptial contract that her ex-husband intends to modify

Britney Spears and Sam Asghari shocked the world last Thursday with the news of their unexpected separation after 14 months of marriage. As reported by the TMZ portal, Asghari began the legal procedures for the dissolution of the marriage, citing July 28 as the date of separation. A decision that would have been made, apparently, after a heated argument over her alleged infidelity, after which he would have left the marital home.

At first, everything seemed that the divorce was going to be resolved without problems thanks to the prenuptial contract that both signed before their wedding. However, it seems that this will not be the case, since Sam Asghari has requested a compensatory pension and that the singer pay her legal expenses. Up to here everything would be normal, except for one detail: apparently, the actor would have already made it clear that he wants a higher figure than what they agreed on. Otherwise, according to some American media, he would begin to reveal intimate information regarding his married life.

The prenuptial contract is very tightly bound, so even if Asghari wanted to challenge it, it is unlikely that he would be able to gain any benefit. Now, if he chooses to try to get his ex-wife to sign a separate check for him, that's another story.

In the agreement it is clear that the artist's assets, of about 55 million euros, are fully shielded. In case of separation or divorce, the actor will not receive a single euro of the fortune that the singer earned in the years prior to her marriage. In addition, Asghari has also waived any claim to Britney's music collection, and the marital home is in the name of a partnership.

The money obtained during the marriage must be divided between both parties, although there is also an agreement on this; And it is that Asghari will receive "a million dollars every two years" from her marriage, with a limit of 10 million dollars after 15 years.

Asghari is convinced that the singer would have been unfaithful to him with a member of his team in the house where the couple lived, and he has made it known to those around him. According to the actor, the artist would have requested that they record her naked in one of those videos that she usually makes dancing, which would have led to her alleged infidelity. Asghari insists that there are images that would prove his suspicions.

What's more, it would have been precisely this hypersexualized behavior of his wife -both in public and in private- that would have caused a deep crisis and, finally, the end of their marriage.

The singer is thus left without an environment that supports her. Her relations with her family are known to be rather strained, despite her reconciliation with her mother and her sister Jamie Lynn. She has no friends around her and her children, who she also doesn't talk to as much as she would like, have moved to Hawaii with her father, Kevin Federline. Those closest to her fear what could happen to her, but the singer seems happy with her situation. In her first words after the news, she announced that she was going to buy a horse.

Since her legal guardianship ended, Britney has announced that she did not plan to return to the stage, but she did release a song in collaboration with Elton John in the summer of 2022. Her memoir, The Woman in Me, arrives next October.
