The CSD transfers additional documentation on the Rubiales case to the TAD

The Higher Sports Council (CSD) has transferred additional documentation on the case of Luis Rubiales to the Administrative Court of Sports (TAD) this afternoon. The TAD met this Monday with the complaint against Rubiales of the CSD on the table but after several hours of deliberation it did not determine whether or not to initiate a file against the leader suspended by FIFA.

The CSD needs the TAD to open this file to be able to convene its board of directors within 48 hours and thus propose the provisional disqualification of Rubiales until the Administrative Court itself issues a final sentence.

Specifically, the Higher Sports Council received a letter from the TAD this morning requesting a full copy of the statement issued by the RFEF on Monday night, a full copy of the statements issued on Friday by Jennifer Hermoso and the union Futpro in which the soccer player denied Rubiales' version that the stolen kiss was consented to, some documents attached to the F League complaint on the matter and a video with the player's statements. The TAD told the CSD that it had not been able to access all of this material.

On Friday, the CSD transferred its argued complaint to the TAD for a possible violation of articles 76.1.a of the Sports Law and 14.h of Royal Decree 1591/1992 by the president of the Spanish Football Federation until Saturday . In the opinion of the CSD, both infractions are considered "very serious", which makes it possible to adopt a provisional precautionary suspension measure for Rubiales as a result of his unacceptable behavior during the World Championship final. Article 76.1.a of the Sports Law refers to abuses of authority and article 14.h of Royal Decree 1591/1992 affects notorious and public acts that violate sporting dignity or decorum.

The CSD also points out that in support of its reasoned request, it had already transferred to the TAD on Friday all the complaints filed with the body (the one from the president of the Cenafe coaching school, Miguel Galán, the one from Sumar, the one from the former collegiate Estrada Fernández and the of the Women's Soccer League).
