The Consell injects 12 million euros into Marie Claire to cover losses due to the pandemic

The Consell has authorized the granting of financial support through the Valencian Resilience Fund (FVR), to the Marie Claire Society, S.A. for an amount of up to 12 million euros, in order to cover part of the losses generated by the company as a result of the reduction in activity caused by the COVID-19 health crisis from April 2020 to 30 June 2022.

The beneficiary company must allocate the funds received from the loan only to finance the fixed costs incurred in this period that were not covered by the contribution to profits or financed by other external sources of financing.

On May 13, the Consell authorized an increase in the endowment of the Valencian Resilience Fund -which had an initial budget of three million- for an additional amount of nine million euros to meet new requests for financing with the purpose of reinforcing solvency of strategic Valencian companies affected by the pandemic crisis.

The financing operations granted under the FVR are intended to reinforce the solvency of companies that, being strategic for the Valencian Community, have been affected by the economic crisis derived from the pandemic.

As a result of the approval of the loan, the company is obliged, among other things, to maintain its activity until the loan is fully paid off in Vilafranca del Cid, promoting and ensuring the maintenance of employment in the area.

In addition, you must request authorization from the Institut Valencià de Finances (IVF) to initiate any employment regulation file, the outsourcing of part or all of the activity outside of Vilafranca, as well as for the opening of new work centers outside the town.
