The level of opulence that some drivers strive to show in their cars can come as a surprise, as happens in cases like this. We are referring to the impressive Koenigsegg Jesko Attack Odin, a hypercar full of luxury and extravagance on all four sides that hardly goes unnoticed.
This hardtop roadster arrives from Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates, where it has just been sold without the identity of the owner having been revealed. Carbon fiber is present everywhere and, what draws even more attention, 24-karat gold has been used for numerous exterior and interior details.
The vehicle arrives from the preparation specialists at Novitec. Last winter, the firm presented the gold-plated Jesko, stating that it was versatile enough to attend a gala dinner and also to dominate the circuits with record times. This example in the photographs is one of only 125 units that Koenigsegg has manufactured of the Jesko.
The car is powered by a 5.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine. With conventional gasoline, said engine generates the brutality of 1,280 HP of power and 1,000 Nm of maximum torque. But with the E85 biofuel, the figures are even more extraordinary, since 1,600 HP and 1,500 Nm of torque are obtained. A nine-speed automatic gearbox is associated with the engine. It should be noted that the car has rear-wheel drive.
It should not be overlooked that the Jesko is one of the fastest hypercars in the world, as it can reach a maximum speed capable of taking your breath away. And it is capable of running at 483 km/h, while stopping the 0-100 km/h time in just 2.5 seconds. It is evident, therefore, that the car is impressive whichever way you look at it.
As expected seeing the abundant presence of the two materials in the vehicle, the Jesko mounts carbon fiber wheels with gold-plated central hubs. When the doors open, it seems that we have before us a real 'transformer'. Once inside the cabin, the aesthetic line and finishes that we see on the outside are maintained.
Carbon also fills the cabin and shares the spotlight with the black Alcantara upholstery finishes on the dashboard, seats and headliner. The contrasting gold stitching clearly matches the gold-plated details that we also find in numerous places in the cabin.
What does not leave anyone indifferent is the price of this creation. The series model is already close to 3 million euros but, after all the transformation, in this case the figure is close to 5 million. It is, therefore, an alternative designed only for certain pockets.
