The Avalmadrid company hires detectives to investigate CCOO union delegates

The reciprocal guarantee company, Avalmadrid, has hired private detectives to monitor CCOO union delegates. Specifically, he has followed in the footsteps of two men who are his employees, who have been at the financial firm for 13 and 17 years.

Specifically, one of them has been fired by management through "a disciplinary dismissal, which is currently being sued and in the process of trial for 2024," the union section points out.

In the dismissal of this union spokesperson it appears that the detectives investigated him for 4 days and among the reasons for the dismissal they argue "disloyalty to the company and manipulation of signings."

According to CCOO, "the reason for the investigation is clearly belonging to the union." To which the same sources add, "Avalmadrid, a politicized company, does not like us to be around." The works council, which was established in 2017, is made up of two representatives from CCOO and three from Csit, which has won the two elections by a small difference, and represents more of the company's shareholders.

CCOO's second union spokesperson - both prefer to remain anonymous - believes the union that there is a 90% probability that the same detectives have also followed in their footsteps. CCOO explains that these two workers have been followed "around their homes, in shopping centers and around work."

In his expulsion letter, the dismissed employee was notified that the detectives saw him leave his door 20 minutes after having clocked in from home and that at 2 p.m. he was with his daughters, when is the established lunch period, and It later followed with a union meeting. The detective followed him until 3 p.m., but he returned to his union duties at 4 p.m.
