Autumn is approaching winter in Sant Quirze de Besora, where I have captured these snapshots for La Vanguardia's Readers' Photos, with a shot of the town at dawn with autumn leaves in the foreground.
These leaves are falling from the trees and more so with the days in which the wind has accompanied us. This week's strong blizzards have accelerated the fall of these autumn-colored leaves so characteristic of this season of the year.
While in the second image we can see a wide range of colors in the leaves of the trees around Sant Quirze de Besora.
We are on the banks of the Ter river, in the Bisaura sub-region and, since 1989, within the boundaries of the Osona region.
Bisaura is a subregion halfway between the Plana de Vic and the Pyrenees, with exceptional landscapes and high ecological value, where human presence continues closely linked to land uses.
