The coaching staff and players of Athletic Club, along with thousands of fans of the Bilbao team, gathered this Thursday to celebrate the Copa del Rey victory achieved last Saturday in Seville against Mallorca on penalties.
Hundreds of boats have crossed the waters of the Nervión estuary following the legendary barge, which after four decades has returned to the scene to celebrate the achievement of the title.
The boat concluded this historic journey in front of Bilbao City Hall just over two and a half hours after setting sail from the Real Club Marítimo del Abra, in Getxo, about 45 minutes later than the scheduled time.
