The Agreement for Amnesty and Self-determination brings together 300 entities and 200 municipalities

Since the Social Agreement for Amnesty and Self-Determination was launched on April 20 to find a "democratic solution" to the Catalan conflict, the group has not stopped working to gain as many members as possible. Yesterday he announced, according to Europa Press, up to 300 accessions that come from the social, cultural, economic and trade union world of Catalonia, and another 200 more firms, this time from councils as well as political parties, among which are ERC, Junts, CUP , PDECat, Democrats of Catalonia, Ganyem Catalunya, Poble Lliure or Communists of Catalonia.

This was announced this Wednesday in a press conference at the College of Journalists of Catalonia by some of the promoters of this platform such as the ex-president of the Parliament Carme Forcadell, the ex-councilor Joaquim Forn, the ex-deputy of the CUP David Fernàndez and the historian Anna sallés

The promoter group also planned to present its general report, the final adhesions and the conclusions of the promoter group coinciding with the fifth anniversary of 1-O, something that they have finally had to delay at the end of the year, specifically "during the month of December" .

The promoters have valued the fact that all the independence parties have adhered to the "unitary space, one of the few that exist at this time" and for which they want there to be a solid agreement.

They consider that the current "complex situation", in reference to the crisis of the Government and a possible departure of Junts from the Catalan Executive, give them more reasons to promote this agreement for amnesty and self-determination.

As for the negotiations with the commons, they have specified that the dialogue with those of Jéssica Albiach "is fluid", but for the moment they have not joined the agreement, and they have explained that in July they had a long working meeting with them in the who told them that they wanted to give a municipal boost to the initiative.

Also in July they spoke with representatives of the municipal world and sent a motion to all the municipalities of Catalonia, of which 200 have adhered, but their objective is to reach 800 municipalities, "80% of the total municipalities" of Catalonia.

They have highlighted that they have already obtained the support of 6,287 municipal elected officials, "75% of the positions", and have specified that since September they have been working for Barcelona to join, with conversations with the municipal groups of ERC, Junts and Bcomú, and they trust that the motion will be approved in the Catalan capital.

In July they also held meetings with all the rectors of Catalan universities, and Sallés has specified that the association that represents all of them "will soon make public" the joint position of the Catalan public universities with its own manifesto in favor of amnesty and self-determination.

As for the accession of the Catalan National Assembly (ANC), the promoters have highlighted that they are waiting for them to validate the agreement and respect their internal debates, and have summoned them to "resume the talks", because they do not contemplate that they are not.

They have also mentioned that there is a fluid dialogue with CC.OO. and UGT of Catalonia, which informed them that "they did not see it, but without giving a 'no'", so they are waiting for the talks to advance.
