The Mossos d'Esquadra have arrested six men in Barcelona as part of a forceful robbery prevention device.

As reported by the Catalan police, three of the arrests were made in the early hours of March 24 and the other three on the 25th.

In one of the events, on March 24, the Mossos detected a 37-year-old man whom they already knew for having a history of robbery with force.

The man was walking along Valencia Street, where he met another person, in a vigilant attitude and looking back to check if anyone was following them, until they stopped at a building, forced the access door panel with plastic and entered. inside.

The agents stopped them when they were leaving the property and found them various tools to commit robberies with force and plastic markers.

In subsequent checks, the Mossos found various markings on three different floors of the building.

That same day, around 5 in the morning, a man who was wandering around a farm fled when he realized the police presence and the Mossos detained him when he tried to get on the subway, after throwing various tools onto the tracks to commit forceful robberies.

On March 25, plainclothes officers arrested three other men, when two of them were trying to force open the door of an apartment on Diagonal Avenue, while the other stood guard.

In addition to finding tools to commit forceful robberies, the agents verified that there were ten more floors with markers on the access doors.

The six men, all with prior records, have been detained as alleged perpetrators of crimes of robbery with force and have been placed at the disposal of the investigating court acting as guard in Barcelona.

In these types of situations, the Mossos advise not opening the door to strangers; always lock the access doors to the street when going to sleep; Close the entrance door of the building tightly and check that no strangers take advantage of the opportunity to enter inside.

The Mossos also recommend that the keys not be left in any hiding place outside the home; If the keys are lost, the cloths should be changed and if you see plastic on the door, the police should be notified.

If you are going on vacation, the advice would be to ask someone to collect the mail, not close the windows completely, leave some lights on or clothes on the clothesline.
