Mossos d'Esquadra from the Arenys de Mar police station (Maresme), together with agents from the Tordera Local Police, arrested, on October 15, five men and one woman, aged between 52 and 24, as alleged perpetrators. of a crime against public health and a crime of robbery with violence and intimidation.
The Local Police received a notice reporting that two people had entered a home in Tordera and had started an argument with the people inside. The agents went to the scene and entered the home, where they were able to find out that it was a violent robbery in which the objective was to steal marijuana.
Due to these events, the Local Police arrested five people while the Mossos d'Esquadra, who came to support the intervention, arrested a sixth person. The assailants had already prepared a sports bag with four bags inside with a total of 2,469 g of marijuana buds and two short firearms, one of them with pellets and the other with compressed air.
The Arenys de Mar Investigation Unit took charge of the investigation of the case and the next day, October 16, the two police forces carried out a joint entry into the home, under judicial authorization, where they found 722 g of marijuana and 2,765 euros. in bills.
Three of the detainees, who lived at the home, are considered alleged perpetrators of a crime against public health, while the other three are considered alleged perpetrators of a crime of robbery with violence and intimidation. On October 18, they were brought to justice before the Investigating Court acting as guard in Arenys de Mar.
