Shakira has become the new face of a famous Mexican snack brand, Sabritas. The artist has already recorded two commercials for the collaboration and, coincidentally, both have been recorded in Barcelona.
In Shakira's second commercial with Sabritas, the artist arrives at the El Palace hotel, the former Ritz, located on Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes. Once she gets to her room, a bag of chips and a sandwich awaits her. Together, Shakira and the bocadillo sing and dance salsa.
The ad ends with Shakira accompanying the sandwich with potato chips and the slogan "Sandwich with Sabritas, the perfect duet."
The collaboration with Sabritas kicks off with a first commercial that was also recorded in Barcelona and in which Shakira stars in an escape in a vehicle as if she were in one of the Fast and Furious movies.
In the video you can see how the Colombian woman rushes out of the recording studio, gets into her motorhome and, after opening a bag of Sabritas, decides to run away. Thus begins a film chase by the press and her agent, but Shakira manages to find a quiet place where she can enjoy the potatoes.
