Shakira announces her new tour during a surprise appearance with Bizarrap

Shakira took center stage at Argentine producer Bizarrap's performance at the Coachella Festival when she announced her next tour titled Women No Longer Cry. "I have something to share... Biza, I'm finally going on tour! I'll start here, in November in this city, I can't wait!" said the 47-year-old Colombian singer after performing La Fuerte, her latest collaboration with the Argentine, which is part of his album Las mujeres ya no Lloran, published on March 22.

Shakira and Bizarrap also played their popular song Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53, which caused great controversy when it premiered in 2023, due to the statements she made in the song about her separation with former soccer player Gerard Piqué.

The song was the most searched Latin music song on Google in 2023 and the third most searched song in the world. They both presented it on the Jimmy Fallon show and recently it was one of the songs that the Colombian performed at the free concert she gave in New York's Times Square.

Before the official Coachella 2024 lineup was announced, it was rumored that Shakira would be one of the headliners of the event that began its first round of concerts this weekend and will have another round from April 19 to 21, however, The Colombian was not confirmed.

During his hour of performance, the producer also performed popular songs from his repertoire such as Mamichula, by Nicki Nicole and Trueno, his collaboration with Nathy Peluso, Peso Pluma or Residente.

Bizarrap has managed to make a name for itself in the industry thanks to its distinctive electronic sound and the fusion it achieves with the styles of each of the artists it collaborates with. Furthermore, with his musical sessions Gonzalo Julián Conde, his real name, has also catapulted the careers of various artists such as that of the Canarian singer Quevedo, that of the Argentine Nicki Nicole, or that of the Puerto Rican Villano Antillano.

The single with Shakira has not been the only controversial one of his sessions, before the song with the Colombian, the producer had presented a song with Residente, in which the Puerto Rican rapper made a "tiradera" for J Balvin.

Bizarrap is currently on tour with the Bzrp Live Tour in which it will visit countries such as Mexico, Spain, Italy and some cities in the United States. Recently, the producer released two songs with Natanael Cano, one of the pioneers of corridos tumbados, and prior to that he presented Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 58, with Young Miko.
