Shakira announces her new album with a revealing message: "It has been an alchemical process"

Shakira has just brightened the day of her millions of followers around the world. The Colombian singer has been releasing different songs on the market for several years, with which she has not left anyone indifferent. And her latest singles have been quite related to her controversial breakup with the father of her children, Gerard Piqué. A separation that was not without controversy and with which the Colombian wanted to vent through her musical themes.

But even though each of the songs she has released in the last two years have become hits with millions of views on all digital platforms, the artist's fans were looking forward to the international star announcing her long-awaited new album. And it seems that day has finally arrived.

This Thursday, February 15, the singer announced the release of her new album titled Las mujeres ya no Lloran. The Colombian's followers will be able to enjoy this highly anticipated album on March 22.

''My new album that arrives this March 22, I have not created it alone but with all of you, and with my pack of wolves who have been there accompanying me every step. The production of this work has been an alchemical process. As I wrote each song, I rebuilt myself. By singing them, my tears transformed into diamonds and my vulnerability into resilience,' the Colombian detailed on her Instagram profile.

In this way, the Copa Vacía singer is releasing an album again after the release of her last album, El Dorado, in 2017 and with which she managed to position herself at number one on the music charts. The title of the album, which will be the twelfth of her career, is a nod to the famous phrase from the song she made with the Argentine producer Bizarrap, Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53.

Rumors that the Colombian was about to reveal all the details of her new album began to emerge following the Super Bowl final, held this past Sunday, February 11, in Las Vegas. And the artist shared a mysterious video in which some of her latest hits played and with which she wanted to warn her followers to be attentive to social networks.
