Sergio Ramos announced this Thursday that he is leaving the Spanish soccer team, of which he holds the record for caps with 180 matches and to which he has not been called up since March 2021.
The defender is the last player of the golden generation of the Spanish National Team, along with Sergio Busquets, who still had real options to continue in the squad. In addition, he won Euro 2008, the World Cup in South Africa (2010) and Euro 2012.
