The Comités de Defensa de la República (CDR), Disobedience Civil Catalonia, the Ponent Anti-Repressive Platform and the Barcelona Anti-Repressive Platform, together with the Reprisaled Persons sector of the Catalan National Assembly (ANC), have organized an "anti-repressive day" on Sunday October 1 with a demonstration and a political event in Barcelona.

With these events, the entities remember the referendum on the independence of Catalonia that took place on October 1, 2017. As its organizers have detailed, the objective is to "give the prominence and recognition that those who have been retaliated against deserve" in Catalonia. .

The marches on foot will begin at 7:00 a.m. in Badalona, ​​Montcada and Reixac and Sant Feliu de Llobregat, all municipalities in the province of Barcelona, ​​ending at the old La Model prison in the Catalan capital.

Likewise, a march with motorcycles will leave from Sitges and a slow march with vehicles from Sant Cugat del Valles (Barcelona), also ending in La Model.

At 12:00 p.m., an event under the title 'Operation Judas: trial of the Catalan people' will take place in the same venue with the former vice president of the ANC, Jordi Pesarrodona, among others. As for the main political event, it will take place at 4:00 p.m. and will be attended by the Consell de la República (CdRep).

The demonstration will leave La Modelo at 6:00 p.m., arriving at the Civil Guard barracks in Travesera de Gracia, and is scheduled to coincide with the one organized by the CdRep, which will leave from Plaza Cataluña.
