RTVE denies that it is negotiating with Isabel Pantoja to ring the New Year's Eve Chimes

This morning, the magazine dedicated to the gossip press and social chronicle Diez Minutos has exclusively published that the singer and tonadillera Isabel Pantoja is negotiating her participation in the Spanish Television Campanadas. The news has shocked thousands of the artist's fans, since it seemed that she was living a time away from the spotlight and the small screen.

According to the media dedicated to celebrities, the mother of Kiko Rivera and Isa Pantoja would be in the final phase of said negotiation and would see the end of the year as a great opportunity, since she has different debts and needs significant income.

After the publication of the magazine and the subsequent coverage in other media, RTVE has contacted La Vanguardia to categorically deny that Pantoja is going to present the Chimes that usher in the year 2024 on the public channel.

As explained by the public entity, this position is not being negotiated with the tonadillera, although at the moment it is unknown which characters will present the space that Ana García Obregón occupied last year with Los Morancos.

Due to the overwhelming response from public television in our country, we can know with certainty that, for the moment, we will not see the singer from Today I Want to Confess, Marinero de Luces, Así fue or What am I going to do with you eating the grapes and toasting in front of millions of viewers.

It should be noted that Anabel Pantoja's aunt already had the privilege of presenting some Camapanadas on Telecinco, those from 2011-2012. On that occasion, Paquirri's widow was accompanied by her son, Kiko Rivera, and by television presenter Jorge Javier Vázquez.

It should be said that these Chimes became (at that time) the most followed in the history of private channels, so it would not be surprising if some network had the artist's presence again.

Many fans of the Andalusian have not been surprised by the possibility of her returning to television episodically to work on a project like the Campanadas due to the serious economic crisis she is suffering. The situation has reached such an extreme that the Treasury has seized his income as a natural person (except as established by law, the minimum interprofessional salary).

At the moment, the singer has not spoken or spoken to the media about any of these issues, since she is focused on her music and resolving the different economic cases that she has open.
