I have completed this photographic route for La Vanguardia Readers' Photos through the landscapes of Central Catalonia, covering kilometers, taking the opportunity to take images of the green land. Thanks to the last rains the crops have been born. It is a beginning, in this context of long drought.
We start with Portell, with this photograph taken at the southern entrance, coming from Sant Ramon, in the Segarra region.
After Portell, following the road we arrive at Ivorra, also in La Segarra. There is a corner from where I love to observe the town, with Santa Maria in the foreground.
After Ivorra, the next stop is Castellfollit de Riubregós, in the region of Anoia. They are photographs taken from the Camí de Cal Marquès. You can't stop photographing its towers and the castle of Sant Esteve.
In Calonge de Segarra, I went to look for a mine that was recently repaired, in the extreme north of the Segarra region. Along the way I found Aleny, located 2.5 km north of Calaf.
In les Oluges, in La Segarra, I photographed the Monfalcó Murallat, already returning home. You can't help but notice this small walled town.
These photographs of Ferran, a population entity in the municipality of Estaràs, in the region of Segarra, are taken from the Carretera de Sant Ramon. We see a panorama of the Pyrenees, as well as Port del Comte, Cadí and Pedraforca. Also Port Ainé, with little snow.
This other series of photographs by Ferran are taken from the C-25 highway tunnel.
I have captured these other photographs in the municipality of Pujalt, in the Anoia region, in the Alta Segarra area. Those who know it, at the foot of the road we will find the little house and the refuge from the civil war.
I have also stopped by Enfesta, in the Solsonès region, where I captured these images.
In Conill, in the Urgell region, I have captured images of the windmills and green fields. I have also placed other towns in the photographs.
Already at home, in Altet, in Urgell, the sun greets me when I take these photographs of the landscape.
