The residents of a building in Figueres were evacuated early this Thursday morning due to a fire on the first floor, according to the Generalitat Firefighters.
The emergency department received notification at around 5:26 a.m. about a fire in a ground-floor and two-story building on Vilafant Street.
The Sistema d'Emergències Mèdiques (SEM) has treated one person. Firefighters have ventilated the building and carried out inspections with the municipal architect. Nine fire crews have worked.
