Real Madrid returned to training this afternoon with the good news of the recovery of Luka Modric, who was able to exercise again although he did so alone. In the next few days he will rejoin the group and the club believes that he will be available to travel to Seville on Saturday, where the whites play against Betis at the Villamarín.
The one who did not train with the group yesterday was Jude Bellingham, who traveled to Turin on Monday afternoon to receive the Golden Boy award. The Englishman finished the game with Granada with discomfort, but his performance at Villamarín is not in danger either.
That's where the good news from Real Madrid regarding the injured ends. The club still has seven occupants in the infirmary, the last being Dani Carvajal, who lost on Saturday against Granada. It is no longer expected that any of them will be able to return this year. Apart from Saturday's game, Madrid travels to Germany next Tuesday to play against Union Berlin in the Champions League and has two league games left to close 2023, against Villarreal at the Bernabéu and in Mendizorroza against Alavés.
The drop list forms Courtois and Militão, both long-term due to their meniscus operations: Tchouaméni, Vinícius, Camavinga, Arda Güler, who remains without a date for his debut, and Carvajal.
