Real Madrid announces the signing of Endrick for 2024

Real Madrid announced this Thursday an agreement for the incorporation of the Brazilian promise Endrick in July 2024, when the young player, coveted by the great teams in Europe, turns 18, the age necessary to carry out the transfer. In this way, the striker will be able to put on the white shirt from the 2024-25 season.

The Chamartín entity has reached an agreement with the footballer's current club, the Brazilian Palmeiras, and with his family. Madrid has not disclosed the total amount of the transfer, but according to the newspaper Marca, the Spanish club will pay a fixed 35 million plus an amount in variables that could reach 60 million.

If that amount is confirmed and the whites end up paying all the variables, the pearl of Palmeiras will become the eighth most expensive player in the club's history and the second Brazilian for whom they have paid the most, only surpassed by Kaká, who cost 67 million euros in 2009.

Endrick is barely 16 years old and has only played seven games for the Palmeiras first team, in which he has scored three goals, but his progression through the youth ranks had been arousing interest in European football for some time. Barça was one of the clubs that followed in the footsteps of the Brazilian, a player who stands out for his power in the last meters and his goalscoring ability.

The center forward made his debut on October 7 with Palmeiras in the match against Coritiba on matchday 30 of the Brasileirao. He entered the field with a favorable result of 3-0 in the 69th minute, at which time the stands chanted his name and dedicated a song to him. "O Endrick, come here, and the bug is going to hit," the fans yelled.

"The player will travel to Madrid in the next few days to visit our club's facilities," the Madrid club concluded. The new addition confirms Madrid's confidence in the Brazilian market, where in recent years it has signed Vinícius and Rodrygo, two players who came to the club very young and are now key players for Ancelotti.

"I'm very fond of Real Madrid for Cristiano," Endrick said in an interview for Marca. The man from Brasilia was recently in the news for posting a message on the networks in which he surrendered to Messi after his performance in the World Cup against Croatia, but after a few minutes he deleted the post, perhaps so as not to enter the White House on the wrong foot.
