RBF Barcelona closes once again with absolute success for artists, public and organization

For the last time, the Parc del Fòrum was the scene of the arrival in Barcelona of the Reggaeton Beach Festival, which next year will be installed at the Circuit de Barcelona, in order to receive more fans and improve its facilities. RBF is the largest festival tour in the world that this summer tours Spain for the 5th time, reaching 11 towns and with almost 600,000 tickets sold.

The two-day stay at this great urban event, in a venue that combines the experience of aquatic attractions and dozens of leisure, cultural and gastronomy proposals, was a great success for the attendees and artists who danced non-stop during their daytime hours for the more than 60,000 attendees. Only Young Miko withdrew at the last minute, who unfortunately suffered a health problem and was quickly replaced by local artist Paris Boy.

But beyond the good taste that the artists left before a young and dedicated audience, the event management wants to appreciate the great organizational success that was experienced with the new protocols implemented to control capacity, the security measures guaranteed by a greater number of employees and the example of coexistence and good atmosphere that was experienced throughout the weekend. From the popular warmth to the good harmony with the institutions, the RBF romance with Barcelona points to many years of life and to continue being an obligatory stop on the Tour every summer. The directors of Bardinet and those of the Circuit de Catalunya, the new venue for the festival, could be seen through the facilities, as well as a large representation of the press that maintained great coverage of the event.

RBF has been working for a long time to improve its festival model and its dialogue with all the venues it visits with its sights set on various lines of action: opting for daytime hours that are better adapted to the lives of families and that ensure respect for the sleep of neighboring residents, the orientation of the stage towards the sea that reduces the acoustic impact, the good implementation of collection and recycling points, in addition to the great coverage by the security and cleaning forces, favored maintaining a respectful and clean environment at all times.

Reinvest each year in human and technical equipment to ensure the best experience for attendees in terms of comfort and easy accessibility to the event, validating tickets and delivering accessories in the days prior to the event in order to achieve smooth and fast access for attendees and the city.

Transversal commitment to essential values in society such as sustainability, respect for the environment, the fight against machismo, responsible alcohol consumption, awareness against addictions and integration and equality.

In addition to collaboration with local businesses, from job creation (an estimated 3,500 direct or indirect jobs), high hotel occupancy (with more than 15,000 overnight stays), the presence of more than 70 suppliers and local companies, without a doubt the high figure of economic return for the region that is expected to exceed 9 million euros this year between the direct and indirect impact.

The festival is the most popular and important among the great musical events in Spain and the one that currently sells the most tickets, with a very high percentage of loyal audiences and which is still in the hands of the same group of young entrepreneurs who created it less than 10 years ago in Badalona. It has not been sold to any investment fund like those that have landed in a big way in the sector because they want to maintain their independence and their civic and artistic values.

RBF continues its summer tour of the best tourist destinations in our country and in the coming weekends it will stop at: Santander on the 29th and 30th, it will make its last stop on August 5th and 6th in Torrevieja (Alicante) and Nigrán (Galicia).
