Rapeseed crops are spreading more and more through the Catalan regions, in this case, creating beautiful natural yellow carpets in La Garrotxa.
Rapeseed can prove to be a very profitable crop, although the drought could also affect this year's crop. Neighboring Osona is the Catalan region with the most extensions of this crop that is used to produce fodder and biodiesel.
In addition, in spring, the rapeseed fields create a green and yellow fantasy in the landscape, giving it a lot of color and generating life among the insects.
