"Remember that on May 28 we came with the municipal police to clean this building." With this aggressive message ends a Vox video broadcast by Javier Ortega Smith in which the municipal spokesman for the ultra-nationalist formation confronts a squatter from the street who answers him from the balcony of a Madrid building.
The Vox campaign begins with the mayor asking "where is the perroflauta" to, in the following shot, snap at the supposed squatter if he has a rental or property contract.
In the absence of a response, the Madrid councilor asks him to look at the calendar on his mobile to assure him that on May 28, the day of the municipal elections in Madrid, he plans to appear in that place together with the Municipal Police to force him to find a home "and to pay it".
After listening to his interlocutor how he responds with a brief "of course" from the balcony, Ortega Smith hardens his speech to threaten him with a violent "What do I go up and explain it to you?". And, immediately afterwards, he reminds her that on May 28 he will appear with the municipal Security Forces to "clean" the building.
A language identical to the Limpiando Badalona used in 2015 by the then Catalan PP candidate for the municipal elections of the aforementioned municipality, Xavier García Albiol.
Albiol, like Ortega Smith, also used the Security Forces in his fanfare by repeatedly being in favor of the heavy hand of the police forces with the manteros to expel "citizens in an irregular situation who create insecurity, incivility and crime" .
